I would just like to say how brave all the helpers were to stand out in all the rain whilst all us slow runners got round. Thank you very much, all your efforts were very important to me. Best wishes

Thank you first for this site. You have to wonder why London, one of the top five, makes it's so difficult for people to enter the lottery. Have any of these organizers looked at the ING NYC marathon web site?
It's quite unbelievable that mail has to go back and forth to Manchester just for the ability of being entered in a lottery! Has anyone ever mentioned this to the organizers? They look incredibly dumb!

I am only 15 years old and on sunday the 23rd I ran the mini marathon. that was the best experience ever, I really enjoyed it. When am 18 I hope to run the whole 26 miles. Also while I was running I was thinking about Lord Coe.

What an experience!! First marathon i've ever ran and i can't really fault it, excellent organisation, easy transport to and from the race, plenty of fluid during the race and the atmosphere is electric!
